Who says that learning stops at 60+?  Not me!

In this blog, I'm taking you on an exciting journey - my personal learning experiment. I want to prove that you can achieve unimaginable learning success at any age, things you might not have even dreamed were still possible.

That's right: I'll be sharing my learning process with you every step of the way - publicly and transparently.

My goal: I want to learn the philosophical foundations to be better prepared for the challenges of artificial intelligence.

I'm particularly interested in the perspectives of contemporary philosophers: How do they think about AI? What solutions and thought-provoking ideas do they offer for a life with intelligent machines?

I'm starting with two exciting books:

Julian Baggini's "How to Think Like a Philosopher":** A promising title that I hope will help me question my own thought patterns and better understand philosophical concepts.

Ray Kurzweil's "The Singularity Is Nearer":** Kurzweil, a well-known author and inventor, describes the future of artificial intelligence and the so-called "singularity" in his book - a point in time when AI surpasses human intelligence. An exciting, if challenging, read!

What can you expect from this blog?

Step-by-step documentation:** I'll be reporting regularly on my learning progress, challenges, and insights - including my thoughts on Baggini and Kurzweil.

Methods and tools:** You'll learn about the learning methods and digital tools I use to learn effectively and enjoyably.

Philosophical perspectives:** I'll introduce you to the thoughts and ideas of contemporary philosophers who are engaging with AI.

Open questions and honest answers:** I'll also talk about my doubts and uncertainties and search for answers together with you.

Intrigued? Then join me on my adventure! Let's prove together that learning is not a question of age, but an attitude!
